Hellickson is BA Minor League POY

hellickson.jpgRays’ pitcher Jeremy Hellickson is Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year for the 2010 season. We scouted him in his MLB debut (4-2 win Vs. Twins on 08/03/2010). In that game the right-hander showed a very good control of three plus pitches: a 91-93 mph fastball, a 81-83 mph change and a 74-78 mph sharp curveball, resulting as the winning pitcher (7 IP, 6 SO, 2 BB, 3 H, 2 ER).
